قال منتجون يوم الجمعة ان ميشيل وليامز ستجسد شخصية مارلين مونرو في فيلم جديد تدور احداثه حول رحلة مونرو لبريطانيا لتصوير فيلم "الاميرة وفتاة الاستعراض The Prince and the Showgirl " الذي شاركها في بطولته السير لورنس اوليفر في عام 1956.
ويشارك وليامز البالغة من العمر 30 عاما والحاصلة على ترشيح الاوسكار عن دورها في فيلمي "جبل بروكباك Brokeback Mountain" عام 2005 و"جزيرة مغلقة Shutter Island" فريق بريطاني يضم كينيث براناج في دور اوليفر وجوليا ارموند في دور الممثلة فيفيان ليج وجودي دينش في دور الممثلة البريطانية المخضرمة ديم ثورندايك.
ويسرد فيلم "اسبوعي مع مارلين My week with Marilyn" احداث اسبوع في حياة مونرو حين فرت من رتابة العمل في هوليوود واستكشفت مباهج بريطانيا في الخمسينات على لسان مساعد اوليفر خلال تصوير فيلم "الامير وفتاة الاستعراض."
وفيلم "اسبوعي مع مارلين" هو ثاني عمل عن مونرو التي لا تزال واحدة من افضل رموز الاثارة رغم مرور اكثر من 40 عاما على وفاتها.
ومن المقرر ان تجسد الاسترالية ناعومي واتس شخصية مونرو في فيلم امريكي بعنوان "الشقراء Blonde" مأخوذ عن كتاب للمؤلف الامريكي جويس كارول عن مونرو. ومن المتوقع البدء في تصويره في مطلع 2012
